In 2006, Fukutomi designed to invest 50 million US dollars in the construction project of the Shantou Fukutomi Green Science and Technology Park in the Shantou Free Trade Zone, which occupied a total area of 94,667m². We estimate the overall project will be completed by 2011 with a maximum building area of 200,000m² and anticipate our annual turnover will reach 150 million US dollars.

The initial phase includes four manufacturing complexes, one office building, one dormitory building for workers, four management office buildings, one staff recreation center, one training center, one reception center and one sports complex. Production lines to be installed will include audio-visual media packaging products, biodegradable Polylactic Acid (PLA) products, as well as injection molded plastic pallets, plastic containers for industrial use and compounding of engineering plastics.

While we concentrate on our business development, we are also devoted to provide a healthy and harmonious working environment for the workforce. There are many entertainment and recreational facilities, such as a recreation center, a canteen, a soccer field, a basketball court and badminton courts for our staff to enjoy during their free time.
