Accompanied by Mr. Jason Fu, Managing Director of Sunghoon China Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Mr. Wei Jing, Mayor of Fushan District, Yantai City and other 3 Fushan District government officials visited our office in Hong Kong on 11th May 2010. Commercial Director, Ms. Mary Cheung, and Finance & Administration Director, Ms. Phoebe Lai, presented souvenir to the guests on behalf of Fukutomi.

The CGCC 110th Anniversary Golf Tournament was held at the Shenzhen Xili Golf Club on May 7. It brought together 54 golfing enthusiasts and being a member of The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Fukutomi sponsored biodegradable PLA golf tees to the tournament.

The 25th Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 27th to 30th April 2010. It was the 6th consecutive year Fukutomi Merchandising Company Ltd. participated in this fair. The products we showcased at our booth this year included: biodegradable PLA products such as flowerpot, cutlery, golf tee; plastics pallets; PET and PLA blister for packaging purpose. Our booth attracted buyers all over the world, which Fukutomi not only further promoted its products, but also explored more business opportunities in different markets.

The 24th International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries (CHINAPLAS 2010)Fukutomi Company Ltd. and Sunghoon China Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. joined together and exhibited at the CHINAPLAS 2010 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Pudong, Shanghai from 19th to 22nd April 2010. The EPS machines Sunghoon China introduced during exhibition included: EPS Intermittent Pre-expanding Machine, EPS Vacuum Forming Machine, EPS Automatic Vacuum Block Molding Machine, EPS Automatic Vacuum Block Molding Machine, and EPS A-lump Forming Machine. CHINAPLAS is the world’s third largest trade fair of its kind, following K Fair in Germany (the world’s No. 1 plastic and rubber trade fair) and NPE in the USA (the second largest plastics fair in the world).

Fukutomi representative attended the China Low Carbon Economy Forum at Beijing Diaoyutai State Guesthouse from 10th to 11th April 2010. The forum, under the theme of “Low Carbon City, Low Carbon Industry and Low Carbon Finance” covered keynote speech, seminars, panels, projection negotiation and connection, social cocktail, visiting Low Carbon companies and parks, etc. Fukutomi had not only deepened its understanding of the current situation of the carbon economy, but also met potential business partners and explored business opportunities.
